With an initial emphasis on marine clients, Coastal Building Supply provided wholesale hardwood such as Teak, Mahogany, Cherry, and Ash to leading boat builders in the US. The business later shifted to serve primarily architects and contractors, focusing on commercial and residential interiors and exteriors. Coastal is now a leading hardwood distributor supplying the wood industry and their clients throughout the US. Coastal Building Supply specializes in wholesale hardwood flooring, decking, siding, boards & lumber, stair parts, architectural mouldings and has more recently introduced custom milling.
